In Indian tradition, the elephant is a symbol of wisdom, strength, and good fortune. The Gajraj Urli carries that blessing into your home, resting on four hand-cast elephant heads, each finely detailed down to the curve of the trunk and the texture of the ears.
The bowl is shaped from solid brass with a softly hammered finish, so every ripple catches and reflects the light. Filled with wax and lit with three wicks, it becomes a glowing centrepiece that turns any corner into a quiet sanctuary. Once the candle is spent, the urli lives on: fill it with water, float fresh flowers and tealights, or let it stand on its own as a sculptural accent on a console, coffee table, or pooja space.
Handcrafted by skilled artisans, each piece carries the small variations that make it truly one of a kind.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to keep the brass bright. Polish occasionally with a gentle brass cleaner, or with lemon and salt for a natural shine. If using with water, drain and dry fully after each use. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers. A natural patina may develop over time and adds to its character.
Candle Care
Trim wicks to about half a centimetre before each use. On the first burn, let the wax melt evenly across the surface to prevent tunnelling. Always place on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep away from children and pets. The brass can get warm while lit, so let it cool before touching or moving it.
